No career or salary progression here
People were lovely, but MRC LMS has a culture of underpaying staff and there are no opportunities for career progression. Managers are going to great lengths to keep salaries low. If you are applying for a job here, try your best to negotiate as higher salary as you can because one you start working, you're not getting any more than that.

Great people, varied work
Great development opportunities, fast paced but varied work to keep it interesting. Lots of team work working with each others strengths. Amazing benefits including flexible working and time off over Christmas. Opportunity to learn new skills and work with different people within the research council and internationally.
