Warehouse Operative in Larkfield
Hard work, poorly paid and not the best environment.
Whilst the job is classed as unskilled manual labour, it is fast paced and physically demanding and minimum wage sometimes doesn't feel like a fair reward. The working environment is dirty and dusty and there is very little investment in machinery and equipment. Management and supervision is not of the highest standard. On the plus side, a 4 day working week always leaves the weekends free for some personal time. There are trade offs in most jobs these days.
Will go all out to cover there own back and throw you under the bus in the process regardless of the problem management can be friendly at first wolf in sheep's clothing attitude never trust any management member
Good working conditions friendly staff
Worked for them for about 20 years no probs friendly staff can phone you out of the blue sometimes and redirect you but only in an emergency or someone phoneing in sick
Driver Night Driver in Wakefield
Night shift hours at day shift pay.
Night shift work with poor unsociable hours, expected to work overtime constantly for basic rate. Pay is 9.21 an hour and 10.50 on sundays. Haven't had a pay rise since april 2019 which was blamed on covid but company is doing more work in other areas. Also if you damage a company vehicle you're expected to pay for it or lose your job.
