Meridian Business Support is a recruitment company. They operate by treating staff as a commodity, because they are to them. Every shift has a ‘buffer’. This means they purposefully schedule staff for shifts that they already know they won’t use them for. This is why you have been told you were to be given work and then received no reimbursement from them. Staff travelling from Birmingham and MK may not be paid or reimbursed for travel. You are only there in case they need you. Payment is not guaranteed.

No you don't get paid for induction they will avoid paying you for everything they can.
