As far as an agency goes, they arnt too bad. Just a shame they have to obey the rules of absolute idiotic managers from next. As far as they run as an agency it isn't too bad though, although staff in the office are over loaded with work constantly but they still do their best to accommodate your needs.

Repetitive but time goes quick

Manual handling job, fast paced and friendly staff. Next employees don’t treat you differently and managers and skilled trainers are there to help you and want you to succeed. Agency did have issues with telling us the correct shift times and paying us correctly, was hard to speak to them on the phone as often they wouldn’t answer

Never ever have i had a job like this! had my induction in bradford, told to start work there the nect day, only to be picked up in a taxi and driven a hour to a warehouse no where near where i lived! fuming wasn't the word, if anything happened to my self or my family, i wouldn't of been able to get back this wasn't a typical day at work!i learned how easy it was for someone to lie to me!i wasn't aloud to talk to management. never again

Having read, various reviews, I wouldn't if I had the chance again, even consider working for this agency, they tell you what you want to hear, at this moment in time, the work isn't there, so you are stood around ok you are getting paid for it. But the morning shift is in the pipe line of being got rid of, then in the later stages of January/ February you then get laid off, if its job security you are looking for I wouldn't even consider this Agency ( MERIDIAN) NEXT themselves, I found the management to be good, I didn't have No problem with them, if you do your job, your ok, but obviously if you just stand around you deserve to get a telling off, but they are more relaxed than hard on you, the Next management, the Meridian lot are a waist of space!! The Team trainers are great, deserve better than they are getting off there employers, oh, and you've to work BANK HOLIDAYS at single time you don't even get a day back,

Meridian is such a rubbish job, they hired a bunch of us for an induction , we got the job and was given the choice to work Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday. But they lied and made us work days we didn’t agree too . They fired us randomly after 5 days with no explanation or reason . Don’t waste your time working for them THEY WILL USE YOU FOR FREE LABOURRRR

This job is unprofessional and unfair . They started firing random people without listening to their reasons or telling them why they fired you and when you try to call or get in touch they don’t read or answer your messages. Diverse but they have people who look at you differently and talk down on you if your doing something wrong . Training is given but sometimes they don’t teach you how to do things and then your left to make your own decision that could be wrong. Also the 9 and a half hours work with a 40 minute break ?

Meridian don’t get you much work

This is one of the best agencies I’ve ever seen, the are so friendly and kind, they do so much for you as well as check up on you after a couple of weeks when you start a placement just to see if you are getting on alright.I would highly recommend meridian to anybody looking for work.What a fantastic company :)

Worst Agency i have signed up for

Me and another guy was told we are to go onto Night Shift at a rate of pay of just over £10 we worked on Nights for a few weeks when we received our wage slips online we found out our wages were way below the said amount when i contacted Meridian i was told they had made a mistake and the wage for nights is the lower amount when i have worked for the company for 3 months i go onto the higher rate of pay the thing is my contract with the company was only for two months , pure con artists they are as much use as a fire exit door in a dinghy !!!!!!!

Whilst working for NEXT PLC through meridian I received threats to kill from one of the workers at next I tried to call the police and the company tried to fire me because I wouldn’t tolerate this kind of abuse from anyone, I called up meridian and they tried to resolve it but nothing has actually happened, Both NEXT PLC and meridian asked me not to call the police but as no action has been taken I have been informed by my solicitors that I should call the police

I worked there for a week before being offered another job and I very much enjoyed my time there; there was always work to do, the managers were great and supportive and the operatives were very helpful and friendly.

working for this agency is rubbish they keep you on for a couple of months then get rid of you then when they get rid of you it affects your rent so i would not recommend working for them my friends never got their holiday pay paid either they are just users only want you when worknow load is down your meet their targets they let people down all time and they let people go to work drunk too so I wouldn't even waste my breath on them I will never work for them again and I was getting different amounts on my wages too so disappointed
