Reviews for Police Officer at Merseyside Police
Busy
Police Officer (Current Employee) - Merseyside - 16 August 2023
Busy with little time for breaks. Supervision will do anything for a promotion including making a big deal out of nothing for evidence for their portfolio. Decent pay, can be a fun rewarding job if you can handle the stress, and if you’re put in on a decent team

Just a number
Police Officer (Former Employee) - Liverpool - 30 May 2022
Exactly as it says, you are just a number and the higher ranks have no consideration of you your family or the stress the job causes. In 30 years I can count on one hand the number of good supervisors I had.
Pros
job security
Cons
long hours and days off constantly cancelled

The people I worked with most of them were nice, helpful.
Police Community Support Officer (Former Employee) - Liverpool - 9 May 2022
For most of my time in Mersyside Police Employment I was happy working there. The only reason I left was due to not being able to work nearer to my home, as I needed at the time, due to having a very young family.
