Michael Page Employee Review
Awful management
Support Worker (Former Employee) - Reading, Berkshire - 15 June 2023
Unclear deadlines and expectations. Awful unqualified management. Only made manager if you have been there for a long time, not if you suit the role. You only get somewhere if you are a consultant.
Pros
Nice office

Support Worker (Current Employee) - Warrington, Cheshire - 13 June 2023
Provides shifts frequently… Good management… Pay on time… Always responded promptly when I had issue. Always kept their own end of the bargain. I enjoyed working with them to be honest!

Fun, fast paced, challenging working environment
Senior Consultant - Temporary Contracts Division (Current Employee) - Reading - 7 May 2015
Michael Page very much has a 'work hard, play hard' ethic which I found motivating and exciting. Teams work closely together offering support and encouragement which enables each individual to become the best they can be. Targets are set which are achievable but require hard work and efficiency. The office atmosphere is busy and dynamic where challenges are often set offering great incentives.

Depends on what desk you're on
Recruitment Consultant (Former Employee) - Bristol - 28 November 2023
If you are covering a discipline that Page isn't known for then you might struggle to achieve targets are obtain a bonus. Staff turnover very high at about 30% annually which tells you all you need to know. Page group filling temp jobs seems to be the easiest and most lucrative. Much better recruitment agencies out there. Lots of cold calling and people just hang up as constantly being called by agencies. Also encouraged to lie to candidates/clients, change CVs without permission etc. to get your foot in the door.
Pros
Nice offices, friendly staff.
Cons
Long hours for little pay
