Management need to be sent out with drivers for a whole day to see the problems you can encounter, or better still send them out on there own .
Look out for your staff you do not support them enough. stop taking your frustrations out oneveryone give more respect to the drivers there jobs are hard and dont need the extra pressure. with out them you dont have a job. make sure the equipment is working before its sent out because its embarrassing i know you get extra money to go repair it but the drivers are the ones who look stupid. dont make promises at interviews then go back on them the best way to prevent people from leaving is to find better area and depot managers because at the end of the day they are the ones who are letting the employees down
Get rid of the supervisor in the Northampton depo she as no respect for anyone shes no good at her job she is no good under pressure and she talks to staff as if they are dirt on her feet that would be a good place to start area manager would be the next place to go he lets all the good staff go and employs people who cant do the job just to fill the vacancies gets rid of staff just because they are slow but they do a better job and dont make mistakes like others who work there Millbrook could be a great place to work but with people like this in charge they wont keep there staff for long sorry Millbrook just being honest.
Listen more and be more understanding this is not just a hard job it can be emotional as well. stop putting pressure on the staff there jobs are not easy
Do there jobs properly find the reason why the person wants to leave give more respect treat everyone as an equal dont have favourites actually do the job your paid for, make sure everyone as done there training
