Treat the staff professionally and like adults, put a stop to gossip and bullying rather than adding to it. Look after their staff and don't overwork them when its busy, don't take away breaks as regardless of peak times breaks are legal requirement when you are working over a certain amount of hours. Don't have favourites and maybe take a lesson in how to be a good manager.
Train them properly and fairly give out shifts and holiday time
Communicate with the team and make sure each team member is heard
Improve everything and listen to complaints to help customers and staff
Realise what's going on in their own business ,
Craig the DM needs to stop bullying people and speak to people like they are humans not just slaves.There will be no reason for people to leave this company all are very friendly
