Chef life with Mint people.
Been working for a restaurant for the past 5 years, working hours are usually 12-22:00 wed-Sunday. Got really bored of the same service and same menu every day. Now I'm with mint people, I work in different locations and different styles to the menu. In one week, I worked in a production unit, the next couple days I worked at one of the biggest events in sporting history of the grand national. I love the fact that some weeks ill be working in some amazing events and learning new things but its also great to spend a week in one location when I want to. The management doesn't feel like management basically, I can call or message them at 11pm after a shift and they'll help me out when i need it. There always communicating and I'm able to just pop in and see what events they've got coming up and discuss it. Very down to earth, friendly and open guys who work in the office.
Pros
Pay, different events, meeting new chefs and new venues. Office staff.
Cons
Timesheets, i know its our responsibility and that's how we get paid but when i forget it causes issues.
