Started out good and turned sour

When I first joined I was really excited to go to work everyday but during the end of my time there, it has turned sour and more about them making money than treating staff fairly.They are constantly breaking food safety laws and working time laws and no one seems to bat an eyelid when you complain about it.Also promised a certain salary and after nearly a year, still waiting for that to happen. Which resulted in me leaving and now in a job where I am actually appreciated and fairly compensated.Only good thing was the staff, like a little family and still have really good bond with all the staff.

Pros

Quiet, so a lot of down time to get to know your colleagues

Cons

Management don't care, not abiding by the law, don't feel valued, not compensated fairly.
