The work environment is okay. Job is settled with guaranteed hours. No room for progression or to further enhance your personal development. Management doesn't care as long as someone fills the gap. No one to one meetings to discuss plans going forward

Stay away from Mitie

If you know how to keep management happy . U gonna completely fine and ur job is secure if you start saying no to management. Then you start counting your days at work. Only you apply job here if you don’t notice around 1. U did not see anything 2. U didn’t hear anything One of worst place I ever worked in my life. You can’t even trust your friends once they find a chance they gonna run you over.

I have been with Mitie for eleven years now, having various jobs. It has been a great place to work at and colleagues are an excellent bunch.Some departments I worked in I.e. Mobile Redponse the team has been great. When one individual is stuck and needs help we always jump in and help them out, to lesson the burden.

Had 3 years of unappreciated work, from people who couldn't care less about the staff.Management are a joke.Long hours worked for minimum of wage...unpaid breaks!!

Needs a lot of help if they want to keep contracts

Managers only call you if they require something refuse holidays every time have to chase them by e mail and if lucky mobile let’s please gat manager vist once a week and help workers with issues and get feed back come on

I currently work here and tell you about how I feel working for them it’s really shocking how they treat you as you are some kind of garbage for them which they picked from the street. I informed the line manager that I’ve decided to returned to college to complete my studies and told me that I should consider leaving my job if I decide to go to college as if that would be possible they have no right to interfere with my life.

I have seen around 6 managers leave in my short time with the company. Almost every month there are pay issues that are difficult to resolve and the work hours long with little to no opportunity for rest breaks (site dependent). Unfortunately, for this alone, I would not recommend Mitie. Positives, its work and that's it

Too overbearing. Expect too much for little reward

Having worked for them for 8 years, they have changed the internal structure of management too far, too much to be done by too few. This filters down to the ordinary employee and you are not made to feel part of a team. Management do not seem to want to listen or engage with you, it's more us and them, which does not exactly do the working relationship any good. a culture of, come in, do the shift, go home, whatever. Everything seems reactive not pro active. Even if you see something simple to solve a problem, no one seems to care, because they are too busy. Need a new challenge, because I still feel I can make a difference.

Relies heavily on self motivation as i usually work alone

Good Team Players

A good team to work with on Response, we all worked for each other. If one of us was stuck on an alarm activiation, the other one would offer to pick up somke of their hits (Patrols) as we called it.
