Good support by lower management. Enjoyed the varied site I worked on and got along with my colleagues. Was promised several courses I could go on like First Aid and CCTV.But even though I asked was never put on them. As an Annual Releif officer I did not mind working on any site I was sent to.

Not a good company long hours poor money no support from managers no quality

Management not skilled enough to do their job and very rarely visit they have a habit of showing up when their bonus is due I learned not work for this company or recommend anybody the most enjoyable part is home time the hardest part of the job listening to managers when they visit they talk down to the guards and I quote we don’t anybody with brains just someone to fill a space that says it all that’s from a manager I would recommend that no one who has quality work for this shower

Dreadful, judgemental, bullying, nasty

Shocking. Made me very Ill working here, such a high turnover of staff and usually the good ones who leave. No support from management at all. Never worked in such an abhorrent nasty environment before couldnt believe it was real. Strongly recommended avoiding this place. No amount of money is worth it.

High workload Senior area manager a bully

Senior area Manager likes to make up things as he goes he is the middle man between the big boss and us and has a issue if we contact the main boss.. Really forceful in trying to make himself look good doesn’t care about the team even though he was a manager himself he covers his tracks nicely.. On a big contract where not even the client requests things we have to go through someone else... Not the greatest place to be everyone is stressed out or too busy filling out spreadsheets for this power crazy manager

Fun Workplace

I would like a position, which I keep constantly busy with a constant workflow and complete all tasks. I like the challenge of learning new databases and aquiring new skills. I am looking for easy going workplace as I am a peoples person. The most enjoyable part of the job is to complete all tasks to customers satisfaction.

Typical day at work

Just a day full of lots of queries with complaints and complements. I was a contractor so had to do whatever i was told to do. The culture was to stay within your team and not to go across to other teams.

Empoylees are just numbers

Management do not listen employees ideas and not backing their concerns at all. I enjoyed working with the people in my crew and other teams, but when it came to management it was different story. As they was never organised very well and would send you to jobs and complain when you could not complete the job correct. When they knew what the job was and what equipment was required, but we would always never have the correct equipment to complete the jobs. On many of times I have also spent 4 to 5 hours on the motorways getting to a job to only get there for the job to be cancelled, but not to be told till we called head office our self's.

Good company to work with

Mitie was a very good company to work with but unfortunately they lost the contract with BSI British Standard Institute and I have been TUPE over to another company. I have learned a lot from Mitie. Dealing with customers, how not to panic in a difficult situation, how to manage danger at work place, how to keep the work environment healthy and safe. The hardest part of my job was to be awake all night, I had difficulty in the beginning but then I mold myself according to the nature of business. The most enjoyable part of the job was that we were allowed to use computers and use internet facility.

good company but no choice for advancing and managment let the customer get to much involved causing uncertainty and conflict between officers and maintanence facilities in the friends life offices management.how ever when I was at Salisbury courts it was great no problems

It has been good working in the company. I do the night shifts and the job environment is nice and clean. There a lot of chances to learn here everyday with upcoming tasks. My co workers and boss are helpful and nice. As a flyer I don't get much work here and that is the reason I want to change my job

shift starts at 06;30, i start at the reception desk for an hour check the e-mails and keep observing the reception desk, then i go into data center and keep on rotating every hour,i have learned to do reception work, how to approach the visitors answering their queries as i speak different language it makes easier when pepole who have difficult to understand english, i have learnt how to deal with different situation and always respect what the company's site instructions, i always work with them in as a team so that we make easier for each other when in need and as i have been working for the company for the past 10 years (incl TUPE'd over) i class myself as the most experienced person in our team, the hardest part of the job is when you teach someone new and knowing that they 're pretending or not understanding is difficult but in the end with experience you get over it and move along, the most enjoyable part is when the client recognise your hard work and also when the public appriciate when they been helped and given correct information, as always i have said that at the end of the day it's part of my job that i'm doing nad really i do not want any special appriciation, and the team should be thanked
