It can be stressful to be challenged by colleagues that say you do not understand your own job and cannot do it and I am worse than useless. It made me very angry when I have all by myself come up with a system which is very efficient in reconciling things, it is a much better system that the one that I was taught when I started. If I have a credit that I cannot match off then that is an "excess payroll deduction" and needs to be written off ASAP. If there is debit then that is an "excess bank payment" and that needs to be written off ASAP. This colleague kept saying that these thinngs should not be written off but investigated by me and my team but that is not the procedure anymore and has not been for a long time!
Thankfully I have a manager that can see my worth, I am the most capable one in the team by far because I can make problems disappear or point out another team to blame, I have a natural talent for these things.
So there can be problematic colleagues that try to tell you that you are worse than useless. But eventually they leave and I have stayed.
Management and their blame culture.
Seems this is a common theme across contracts and sites.
Some people get away with fraud, Incompetence, bullying etc. Yet others can’t breathe in the wrong direction.
It is ok, I was fine because I had an arrangement with a person there, I got them to sort a lot of stuff that was going bad but then this person got funny about it and left, it is ok though because I got another team involved now! I don't understand why some people get so stressed out about things when all you need to do is follow a process like when this happens write A and when something else happens write B and that's it done!
When you are in a group of people that enable bullying that is stressful, it's actually the worst thing about being bullied. Mitie enables bullies because of a culture where no one feels that there is any hope of doing anything about them. So everyone lets a bad person do bad things and sort out the harm they do. Bad managers are being paid to do harm and are so confident that they can do it they mock anyone trying to call it out. I saw this and time after time stopped the real harm the manager did until I had to go. The manager had persuaded everyone that this was ok because I had the spare time! How is it ok for a manager to decide what to do with another persons spare time in any case?
Everything from the staff to the job!
When your line manager days if it looks tidy or clean leave it! Reuse black bags and water down the anti bacterial cleaner.

Disorganised shambles. Every contract they acquire is poorly run. There are so many unhappy Clients and Officers out there you would have to experience it to believe it.
