The most useful review selected by IndeedLeft alone to manage an extremely high work load. Absolutely no formal training - essentially you just figure it out. Autonomy in the role is nice but the lack of support when needed is an issue. You're fearful to take a day off as there's no cover meaning you come back to an absolute mess. Below average salary compared to their competitors.

What a disgrace this company is

Working for this company you soon realise what a big mistake you have made in working for themThe management don't want to know unless they are wanting something like working late or working weekends at such short noticeThey never listen to you..The people who you are working with are all stressed out because of the managementYou never see the manager even when you call them they never return your call.The management should really go on a course in how to speak to peopleI wouldn't believe a word they sayThey seem to like to employ individuals that are very over weight near retirement and very unfriendly and extremely nastySo why would you want to work for a company like this

Fair working environment with bad administration . Salary calculation is usually wrong. The management of test sites was fair but some managers were loose.

Productive and fun workplace

Enjoyed my time working in covid testing. Worked 4 days on and 4 days off which I enjoyed. Colleagues and management were all great. However Mitie as a company are let down by one thing. An absolutely appalling payroll department. Wages continuously wrong. Slow to sort the wages out. I waited 3 months to get my double time for working New Year’s Day as payroll had to check it was a holiday!!!

Good company to work for. Good management team that I have had contact with. Good pay. Dress code different every site but so far combats and polo top.

Team was great I was placed with but heard horror stories of other teams on rotation. Few had wrong pay and took weeks to sort out. Some placed in management positions on the site were bully's and was unclear how they even got the position in the first place.

Great customer service given to the public. Good team and management. Everyone gets on well. Plenty e-learning to do and you can progress if you like it. Overtime available at various sites in Scotland where need be. I have an enjoyable time here. I’ve personally done a lot of overtime at different sites. You get to meet so many people.

Stay well clear

This company is an absolute shambles to work for, they price all jobs for 2-3 coats and pay you to hit it with one coat, they put you on price work with prices barely achivable and if you do make the price or bonus they are looking for as many ways as possible to take it from you, they lie and cheat there way through everything, they are stuck in the dark ages, management couldnt give a momkeys about you just there on pockets, do not work for this company worst i have ever worked for, just STAY WELL AWAY from here.

general housekeeping activities was the main jobcleaning toilets,desks,floors,kitchen areas and meeting rooms. hoovering and mopping floors.training was available and regularly updated

Worst company I have worked for, even though I have been employed with them for 10yrs the managers are of no support what so ever, your wage is never correct, hope it to be away from this company soon

Loved it here
This place was amazing. Was only here a few months as it was a temporary contract but honestly the best time of my life. It was busy and fast paced but the days went in fast. Management were good to get along with, always there for support and could approach them easily.

Just a shambles from top to bottom terrible price work and treat u like a mug and when you do make bonus they just keep it avoid at all costs, you work an extra 10 hours a week if you have a van and don’t even get paid for it lol

Poor senior management

Mitie is blighted by poor senior management with grandiose ideas but no actual idea of the work on the ground. They will only listen to yes men often to the detriment to the company and its hard working employees

Retail side was excellent (but)

You'll enjoy some of the retail side, but don't expect a decent work life balance,and you could be asked to work at places you'll need a car but not offered travel costs or if you need buses or trains or taxis I am even sure that's not going to be covered , plus constant back shifts so getting home with no car could be a nightmare it's self if any transport is cancelled, the pay should be more for the abuse you get of people at night and also if your on a site full time the system can let you down on reports alone ( not enough your moved ) Now as for the management team they are amazing and look after you but they can only do so much as mitie won't over travel costs as I called the office and they couldn't help

Great place to workI learned a great deal about business management and business ethics.The management team were all hard working and driven.The culture of the workplace was profit driven.The hardest part of the job was the long hours.The most enjoyable part of the job was the culture.
