Not much of a social life.They say they'll help you with anything you may need,but no guarantees' though.Work your contracted hours,then you get a text to ask about working extra hours on the same day.Management are slow to respond if you need time off,or pass the buck between manager & supervisor.Targets to hit with thefts & if you don't get enough,they ain't too happy

Pay wrong frequently, never their fault. Takes ages to sort out. Bring in petty pointless rules that just make the job harder and less enjoyable to do.

Poor communication

Poor communication management. When doing a great job no praise or recognition been with them last two years still waiting cctv course plus ➕ give them then notice for a holiday policy 28 days trying getting one with that notice not a chance.

Good training knowledge and hours

I worked for mitie for a little over a year and a half but left as the site I was at was closing down, friends dispersed and went to basic patrols and greeting visitors, on the whole though mitie offer good hours and also managers are well trained and experienced so always happy to assist where needed, pay is really good and hours are very decent with a 4 on 4 off role, Progression u wouldn't know about as I didn't get the chance although when asked about training on CCTV or something else this was told as not available but then you found other staff were actually trained on that particular course so felt a bit certain ones yes you no.Other than that small issue I found mitie a great company and always offered roles where short e.g Manchester or Liverpool area, and good team environment

Just not enough on the hourly rate what with todays rises in the cost of living.maybe at least an extra £1 an hour rise apart from that one thing a great company to work for

some great work colleagues with reasonable pay marred by a few extremely toxic individuals and terrible management. The bridges between customer and employer are at times broken with poor communication. last resort working here if had no choice.

£9.00a hour not good enough CEO needs to up the wage plus some area managers need investigating management from London head office eg CEO and the directors should be paying more visits come on top management visits would be good come and listen to your workers

Terrible company to work for. Had the unfortunate pleasure of being Tuped over to this shambles of a company after they bought and ruined VSG, Non of my T&C,s were adhered to.Work given at last minute, sometimes 70 miles away . Heartless management, forced to work after undergoing biopsy’s for possible cancer diagnosis. VSG were a great company totally destroyed by cowboys.

Don't expect any help from managers who only want to look towards negative aspects of your work and leave you no choice but to leave because they expect you to do one thing then say another. Spineless and immoral, I had a really horrible experience with them and regret every second.
