wanted to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the opportunities and support provided by the company. I am grateful to be a part of such a dynamic team.However, I would like to address a concern that has been on my mind for some time. As an employee, I strive to go above and beyond my job responsibilities to contribute to the success of the organization. Unfortunately, I have realized that my current salary does not align with the rising cost of living and the extra efforts I put into my work.I understand that the financial landscape is complex and challenging for businesses, but I would like to kindly request a salary review. It would greatly alleviate the financial burden and enable me to continue performing at my best without any distractions.Thank you for your time and attention. I remain dedicated to the success of the company and believe that a fair and equitable compensation will further enhance my commitment.

You get extra hours if needed and payment is good. However, sometimes it can be quite demanding. Depends on the type of place and job that is required from you to do.

Fun work place

What is the best part of working at the company?The mangers go that extra mile to help you and the supervisor go out of there way as well and the wages are a good rate per hour What is the most stressful part about working at the company?There is nothing stressful at Mitie What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Very good and everyone get on What is a typical day like for you at the company?Work hard and you get reward for your hard work

Productive and fun workplace

Management easy to contact by text or phone call and very helpful.I get paid on time , mostly correct wage pay, first wage wasn't paid right but was quickly rectified and so far no problems since.

Good company to work for.Fair pay. Good benefits, IE holiday pay, sick pay etc Manager was great genuinely nice guy spoke to us all more like a friend than a boss

The wages are not good at all..They keep you at work 9 hours but mitie pay jusy and only 8h.They don't listen when u recommend something different to them (menagers)

Just a number worked to the bone.

Your just a number, worked to the bone fight to get time off as no-one will cover, rates of pay in security is the same as a cleaner you go on loads of courses pay don't go up so you may aswell push a mop as there on the same and no responsibility. Its single time all through except for bank hols but if your pattern lands in on all of them they won't pay you for them all even though you worked them. No praise and when emails get sent to management about the work we do it never gets back to us the thanks the clients have gave us. The more you work the more you get crapped on dragged from pillow to post whole lazy people sit back and never touched. Only bonus 4 on 4 off if lucky. And ring management for help they ignore the phones. And get supervisors to do there dirty work and get the flack off disgruntled staff while they hide in the ivory tower.

Honestly working for Mitie has had it's pros and cons but it's not all down to company culture, it is sometimes the nature of contract work that has it's drawbacks. If you're working in an office environment it's really OK. It's less flexible for hourly paid colleagues.

Good job but poor pay

I found working for mitie landscapes a bit up and down.. alot of site we maintained were very low maintenance and easy but the sites that required more time we never seemed to be given a good amount of hours to complete the work. Management depends on what region you work for but I was lucky to have a good understanding manager who themselves seemed to be under alot of pressure form the powers above but never really pushed it down on to the opratives to much which was nice.Equipment we were provided with was often old and battered and then when it does go wrong you will get the blame for breaking it.Most people employed when I was there were all very low experienced opratives who clearly had no clue but were sent out to attend sites themselves after minimal training. And if you do have experience or qualifications it doesn't matter because you will still be paid bugger all..Gritting in the winter can be good pay and worth it if you don't mind being on call for a few months bit it's worth talking to managers to see what you're actually getting paid for it and check payslips to make sure you have been paid what they say you should get.

Worked with good lads with good work life balance and great pay. The only problem is the management, under qualified and power mad. But Obviously I can only speak for the site I was on! Other then that a brilliant company to work for.

Mitie is not a good company to work for.Bad management. No duty of care. No respect for Health and Safety. Under staffed constantly putting pressure on existing staff.The list is endless.

Just a reminder it's a place run with strict policies.Obedience, Punctuality & Discipline is highly required. Unless you can walk 40,000 or Above steps sure go ahead or you really want to polish your abilities and skills too.

Micro management

My time at mitie was overall good.The things that need looking at is the micro management which was quite annoying given the multitasking you did.The pay does not reflect the amount of work your expected to do but people I worked with were great and I remember them all.
