  • Hours are usual for retail but there is digital clocking machines so they know when you start and finish. You are expected to work extra unpaid before your shift to prepare for the day which is fair enough but often you are expected to work late also unpaid to cover a shift or finish with a customer.
    On the other side if you are five minutes late you lose thirty minutes wages so you can work an extra two hours in a week and lose wages for that week.

  • As flexible as a rock. Constant rota changes and often where you working without little notice. Felt like a 24 hour job

  • 9 hours per day but only paid for 8. Monthly stocktake can be a 12 hour day (4 hours unpaid)

  • Normal 9-5.30 working hours but you’re often expected or demanded to work extra. Despite this you are neither paid for the extra you worked or offered time back at a later date.

  • The hours are bad and if your face does not fit u will get no time off you ask for

  • No the hours are set with little room for flexibility
