Stressful target based call center

Not a great experience working here. They set impossible targets and statistics for you to meet whilst you are struggling doing hundreds of phone calls a day (which they then change their minds about every monthly “performance” meeting you have; causing you to score low every month). Every call you have to achieve above a certain percentage to pass, and its not just one or two things you need to do every call, its 2 and a half pages of things. They pick 3 calls a month to mark out of the 1000s that you complete and think that is an accurate representation of your work. They advocate good mental health support and standards and then pile so much work onto you that you reach breaking point. Working hours are tough and weekend shifts have been increased. Lunch break times are chosen for you every day so have to have really early or really late lunches weeks in a row. Only pro is good pay.

Pros

Good pay

Cons

Weekend work, impossible targets, ridiculous amounts of work

A total man's world

I worked here as a female sales rep - it was a flexible job with lots of opportunities for fun. Not a great job if you're not into the super late night party scene. Opportunities to advance if you play by the rules of the "man's world."

Pros

Great compensation and flexible

Cons

Advancement required tolerating unwelcome behavior

A decent place

Molson Coors is a decent company with many opportunities for advancement. There are some ups and downs and office politics that you’ll have to navigate while there.

Pros

Free beer good benefits

Cons

Office politics

Bad company and worst union

Union only hires relatives no outsiders. And company allows it so if you don't have family there is going to be a waisted of time. Temps don't have a chance of getting hired unless you kiss butt

Recruitment talk a good talk

Job NOT as Described Former Employee) – Burton-On-Trent – 17 December 2016 Good set of co workers, with the the exception of one or two. Recruitment totally lied about what my role is. Need to be more honest of what's expected instead of glossing over the cracks

Pros

Pros Beer allowance

Cons

Cons Poorly thought out shift patterns, Management not in touch with with staff. Constantly moving goal posts in order to make targets

Enjoyable working environment

Split days between working on phones and planning. Dealing with customer issues and arranging installs. Planning on a specific area taught me organisation and problem solving abilities Having a great line manage was crucial to development Employees are all diverse and make the job more enjoyable Hardest part of the job is dealing with the repetition of the role Most enjoyable part is the relationship you build with your colleagues

Pros

Staff discount

Cons

shift patterns and some weekend work

Opportunities to Diversify but don't lose your objective

I worked for Molson Coors and it's predecessors since 1994. The company has been through it's highs and lows, some great bonuses and some none. The company provided me with the opportunity to diversify my skills. The hardest part of the job, came when there was no local office to me, so very solitary and as a consequence management had no idea of your contribution.

Pros

Beer Allowance

Cons

Worklife Balance non existent with no recognitiion

Great place to work with nice benefits and vacationn possibilities.

This is a great place to work if you are able to get into a permanent direct hire position. Everyone stays here once they are a direct employee. The culture and personality of the comapny as a whole would make it a great place to work.

Pros

Great benefits, perks, and the possibility for great income.

Cons

Invisible, nearly impossible direct hiring chances. They prefer indefinite temporary over direct hire.
