I went around different schools and was teaching different ages and subjects. The agency were really helpful and supportive all the way. They looked for what suited and if you wanted something in particular went out of their way to help.

Not the best experience

ProsThe only pro is they were able to find work. It wouldn't always be in a teacher role which I know many supply teachers won't entertain! Cons-Rude consultants who try to knock your confidence so they could pay you less and offer solely TA roles-Sent to far schools regardless of where you live-Long-term positions were mostly for experienced teachers -In my experience, some of the worst schools in the city were using this companyIt was a springboard and a steep learning curve for me, but I wouldn't advise sticking with them long-term.

Fab company to work for staff really take care of you and plenty of work to go around too. Sometimes can be sent far from ur location ti work but staff and work coach always be in touch. More like friends than boss

Really unprofessional people working here Everyone is rude and don’t want to help you with any queriesI was waiting to be payed for a month even though I am payed weekly forcing me to chase my money. When I asked about my money they just kept giving me excuses to avoid paying me. They speak to you like you’re a child and try and belittle you.They don’t have a clue what is going on and when you tell them your requirements, they forget them the next day and expect you to be doing something different.They need training on how to manage people and speak to people better and they need training on how to do their job.Please avoid this company as it will cause you a lot of stress and unhappiness.

Standard agency

Agencies are much of a muchness, this is a standard agency. Some of the experienced office staff are great, some are to be avoided as they will be liberal with the truth both to you and to the externals stakeholders you may work with.

Literally waste your time because they probably offer you a job almost once a week. For the rest of the week is just endless waiting.In the application stage, the whole process was very slow. It's very funny to take two months to do everything they asked for, only to have a job offer a week later.I have a pretty nice counselor. But I was very anxious at the end of my application process, I sent two emails to inquire about the current situation, he ignored them all and did not answer.The whole experience so far is really awful, time consuming and unpleasant. I hope everyone could avoid this agency and find the jobs you like.

Good communication & they give you what you ask for

I started with another agency who sent me far away despite asking to be close to home. Monarch gave me the exact school I asked for and negotiated my pay. Pay isn't brilliant but I get the days I want 99% of the time. 4 stars only because management can sometimes be a bit grumpy with you if you cancel and supply is supposed to be flexible.

Unprofessional and sooooo rude

I worked for this company last year and one of the staff was so rude and unprofessional. They ignore my emails and calls, and messages. They were so rude and thought I needed them for my living, maybe? Alao, they didn’t claim everything is clear, and I think they did that on purpose.

Worked at Monarch Education for 20 years. Management are patient and understanding. Lots of competitions with prizes both individually and team. It is hard work but if was easy we wouldn't be needed by our clients.

Great team who know what they're doing

I've worked at Monarch for a long time and wouldn't want to be anywhere else.Everyone always tries to look after and do the best for each other; whether that's candidates, clients or other colleagues. It's a collaborative, supportive atmosphere where there's nothing ambiguous about targets or rewards. Everybody is motivated to help you achieve what you want out of your work.Can things go wrong from time-to-time?Sure, but where doesn't that happen?The main thing is how everybody responds to deal with these situations. Everybody wants the best for all concerned.
