Safe to say you'll learn at a million miles an hour, and sometimes it can be hard to keep up.
Great to have an impact within a company that is genuinely changing the world though!
Monzo is an LGBTQ+ friendly workplace who advocate equality and acceptance. The diversity in the company is incredibly well managed. The people are wonderful and whilst the job provides a big challenge it is balanced out by the lovely people to work with.
Pros
x2 free lunches a week, lots of free snacks, free drinks of all kinds
Cons
Can sometimes be shifted to work 6 days in a row, 1 day off, then another couple of days back in.
From working in a previous bank Monzo is an absolute dream. Pay is amazing and the ability to work from home is a life saver.
You are always learning something new and always ways to progress.
Everyone has the same ethics and it is lovely to work with such happy people.
Great possibilities for development and quick career progression. Amazing culture of feedback and focus on personal relations. It can be stressful due to the nature of the job but there are processes that ensure that everyone feels good and capable.
If you’re looking for an easy job this probably isn’t for you. However if you’re looking for a job that challenges you, has processes constantly changing and values learning and development it’s definitely for you!
Ran by a bunch clueless kids who have no idea whatsoever on how to deal with people tactfully or resourcefully.
Toxic hipster culture that you MUST fit into or your cut off like a tumour.
Stupid management who don’t keep promises with a bad habit of going againstthwor wors while keeping peope in the dark.
I can’t say anything bad about the company as such. I can say the branch at Cardiff is not very professional. It seems to me that they only employ people under the age of 21. There’s no room for progression. They are ageist. They don’t take into account people’s experiences and knowledge.
Pros
Free food somedays.
Cons
Unprofessional it’s more like high school
