The staff day to day are lovely caring and have a real family vibe.The clients are some of the most beautiful and interesting people you’ll ever meet.Anything above the registered manager can look down at you and treat you like rubbish. People do make lies up and they need to be investigated. Only one or two bad eggs in the whole company

They are dedicated, standard, professional, inclusiveness and have team spirit

The work environment is very conducive, you be given training before carrying out your assigned responsibilities. Staff and management are always at your reach should you need support in your service delivery. Managements are proactive and have a positive relationship with staff; given them sense of belongings which contributes to a good stable mental health of staff whilst at work to make a positive outcome in the lives of people they (staff) care for.managing challenging behavior can be stressful at times, but with the right training, team, environment, policies and right state of mind this can be positively managed and mooreview management ensures that staff receive that before starting work.The team work and good relationship amongst staff makes the work easy and fun

Collaborative workplace

In my role as a support worker, I've learned valuable lessons in empathy, the importance of caring for and loving my service users, as well as keeping them safe from harm. Supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals has been a fulfilling part of my job. I take pride in contributing to their well-being and growth, and it's been a rewarding experience.

A great place to work

In a typical day as a support worker, I am responsible for assisting individuals in various aspects of daily living, such as personal care, medication management, and emotional support. Working as a support worker offers the opportunity to learn valuable skills in caregiving, communication, and empathy. Additionally, I have gained a deeper understanding of healthcare practises and the importance of patient-centered care. At Moorview, there is room for collaboration, learning, and a commitment to providing the best possible support for those we serve.The most enjoyable part of being a support worker is the sense of fulfilment that comes from making a positive impact on the lives of the individuals I care for. Building relationships, witnessing their progress, and knowing that I am contributing to their well-being can be highly rewarding.

The people who we support in Whitby are fantastic and make the job great . They are mostly eager to learn, fun loving and do become your family away from home

Amazing residents who make the job worthwhile

Not the best to be honest. The tenants are amazing and so lucky to support them but the management structure is what let's the entire thing down. I wouldn't recommend my friends getting a job here.

From what I gather Moorview care is a wonderful place to work, but asked for my personal experience I’m only in the onboarding stage and can’t say more until I e started properly

A reputable company with a well struct Management system

The most enjoyable part of this job is to see your clients happy. Mooreview culture is absolutely the best, the fact they work together regardless of your who you are or where are from. They listen to the staff and help to build their workers career in support

Terrible place to work

The staff at these houses on scarboroug are two faced its a terrible place to work at. The team leaders and senior support workers sit in the office with the door clothes acting like mangers gossiping, the staff Slagle u off to other staff and get a way with it, I would not recommend any one to work here I only lasted 6 months but it felt like 6 years don't apply

Excellent team leaders.

Great clients and varied role. The team leaders in this area are fantastic, despite being relatively new to the role. Very approachable and do their upmost to support you. They are on the floor with you so know the trials and tribulations of the role and are always there to understand what staff experience. Could benefit from transparency on why other senior staff have left the company as it only starts the rumour mill. In need of more senior staff to support each other and share the workload.

.Our clients are the motivation for all of us. The management team are brilliant from locality manager down. I feel supported and valued. The hours are long but that is the case in most care homes. I do love my job and enjoy each day my goal is to move up in the care sector.

Not a good company to work for

They don’t care about anything but mone, unfortunately it’s getting the same in every company like this now, at first it seemed like everyone cared but it was apparent very quickly that was not the case, safeguarding concerns always get overlooked and management don’t care.
