They staff are overworked , taking inbound calls and making outbound calls as well as emails , at the same time (you are not given time off the phones to work emails and yet are targeted for it .And while you're struggling with this , they will still make you lick envelopes to post out to customers .Too much and the Salary doesn't match the job role

I was given the opportunity to do a work experience placement. They were really helpful in showing me different job aspects within the industry and catered to my interests whilst I was there. I learnt so much during my placement and had a great experience. I would definitely recommend the company to anyone, the staff were very friendly and helpful. They gave me lots of different things to do during the week so I was never bored and constantly learning.
Friendly staff, loads to do, learnt loads.
Your experience will depend on your manager. It's also very hierarchical with many directors having s superiority complex. It ranges from discriminatory managers (sexist, homophobic, ableist) to very supportive. There is no consistency. And the People (HR) team seem unwilling, or inept, at changing this. There is an overarching dog-eat-dog mentality. Again, that HR don't mind ignoring. There is no succession planning and no plans to bring any in. Many job titles are made up to pay you as little as possible. And makes moving to another company very difficult. You will likely come out worse off than you went in. Unless you're in the elite (directorship). Do not expect any loyalty from them. They're making people redundant who've been with them for decades without care, and with the bare minimum compensation.
The people that work there are amazing
Everything else (including outdated systems)
Overall the people who work there are good and that is the main positive about working there. The pay is poor for what is expected and progression can be limited depending upon what area you are interested in. If you don't mind the poor pay its an okay place to work.
Pay, weekend working
Really bad management and lack of communication. I left a stable job for this role as a Merchandiser and deeply regret. You are merely a payroll number and only as good as your last shift. Also management have thier favorites and very clique office culture.
Good staff discount
Too many to mention
really enjoyed my time at N Brown, made life long friends and had the best time. In terms of marketing they are way ahead of the curve (Or were whilst the ex marketing director and head of were there) unfortunately, I would not say positions at N Brown were anywhere near stable (there were a round of redundancies about every year whilst I worked there) nor are the salaries any way close to being decent or fair. I would recommend this company to graduates who are willing to work really hard in a fast paced environment that need lots and lots of experience at a well known brand but do not expect to be there for the long haul.
Loved all the various roles undertaken during my time at NBrown, this really is a great place to work, opportunities available and great colleagues. I worked on the Digital Platform Transformation with both NBrown technicians and 3rd parties to lead, guide and support - learned all about AWS and the benefits

The biggest positive about this company is the people you work with. They are very friendly and supportive. The salary is not competitive but there are a lot of perks to the job as well, plenty of activities and staff motivation. A lot of support given and objectives constantly set to help you grow
It was very customer service heavy and very corporate. They like to use words like internal shrinkage for when you go and make a brew or go to the toilet more than twice a day. Very unsociable hours. Work colleagues were always moaning about each other. My training was shortened whilst everyone else's was longer.
Free pizza, pastries on certain days.
No support, training not long enough, toxic environment, extremely boring, unsociable hours.
The manager in charge had no input in my day to day work and the employees who worked closely with my manager filled his ear with bad things regarding my work and since there was no tracker available to track my work he believed them and terminated my probation contract.
Poor management in the Facility's department, with little or no regard for training. Unclear instruction from higher management in the facilities department as infomation is contradicted in the same emails with no explanation or corrections leaving the lower management and workforce unsure of planned works. This is a daily occurrence
Want own team so you get pushed out of the job no redundancy but performance review you out of the business by building lies against you. Senior management like to put blame on others and pressure you into thinking your at fault. Stressful and demanding avoid at all costs
