Products are great. Customers are lovely. But the culture of the company is lacking
The company has a lot of work to do management wise, they don't value their staff and staff is considered as staff only. Most New staff don't last because they are confused or expected to perform on a ridiculous wage, for what they are doing. which leads up to young inexperienced management starting with no ethics struggling to impress.

Great company to work for
Great teams of artists and retail people working for the brand. They promote creativity and self expression keeping it always real with numbers, at the same time. The brand's grown massively and people do love it so that really helps to achieve sales goals. If you are passionate about it becomes a fun job.In terms of opportunities they try to promote people within the company, when I was working for them (UK) they wasn't as big as in the US, but now that their presence in Europe is stronger I'd assume there'd be more roles and chances to grow.On a personal note, it was a great experience and it really taught me a lot, on many levels.I would work a lot, but I felt valued and part of a team with a common goal. It's a great brand to work for with a great history and a legendary founder behind.

Don’t work here
Was treated disgracefully probation was extended by one month over Christmas and the area manager had only met me once. Never had anything negative said in my reviews and was made to feel as though everything was going great. Then suddenly my probation meeting I was treated as if I had done nothing right and wasn’t doing my job . However it is clear that the reason behind this was funding and they were trying to get rid of me as since I left off my own back my position has not been advertised. I felt the situation was dealt with unfair and over the Christmas period leaving me feeling stressed and upset

Amazing company to work for.
Nars is a great company to work for, they look after you as a company and there is plenty job satisfaction. You are offered a lot of training and support within the company.

Fun workplace
A typical work day is foundation matching customers and doing makeovers. Fun workplace with great colleagues. Nothing hard about the job, just a very fast paced environment.
