What is the interview process like at National Express?
'Group assessment' at Digbeth. Basically those who shouted the loudest were invited back for a proper interview on the same day. Fail the group assessment, you never hear anything from them again. Stupid system where they'll apparently phone you within 2 hours. The entire process was cold and hostile.Asked 28 March 2017

What is the organisational culture at National Express?
Definitely "them & us" between drivers and management. The drivers have to enter the building via a separate entrance, (round the back, naturally), and aren't allowed into the office under normal circumstances. If you want to speak to the the shift supervisor you have to stand at a window, like you're in a bank. The bosses remain behind a locked door! Generally favouritism is shown towards the more experience drivers with preferential jobs & time off.Asked 16 June 2017
