'Group assessment' at Digbeth. Basically those who shouted the loudest were invited back for a proper interview on the same day. Fail the group assessment, you never hear anything from them again. Stupid system where they'll apparently phone you within 2 hours. The entire process was cold and hostile.
Easy. As long as you've got a licence- you don't even need to be able to speak English, you'll get the job.
You always get the job they are so desperate for drivers
A big joke they are not bothered if u can drive a bus u got the job even if u got points on licence or been banned
The interview is very simple and focused mostly on the candidate's interpersonal skills.
Informal, based on competency based questions and then about the company as a whole
Competency tests, role play and interview with Duty Managers
3 Months from application to job offer!?
The interview process is enjoyable.
The questions are written and verbal and there is adequate time to answer all of the questions. Their was a brief 'my name is' type of opening with all applicants saying their names and a few other details.
The questions are primarily focused on the applicant's knowledge of the approximate positions of the cities and towns in this country and related aspects of travel in the country.
The work with this Company is rewarding and enjoyable although on 'shop level' the managers are more concerned with employee infringements and data protection rather than the welfare of staff.
It is therefore left to the Team Leaders to promote confidence, provide daily briefings and updates and encouragement of sales advisors.
