Good benefits, friendly and supportive workplace

Depending on the role you apply for you typically start as a telephony based member consultant (on the phones taking inbound calls). Training is good and support for sign offs and initial embedding period is plentiful. The best part of the job is without a doubt the people you work with (all very supportive and friendly) also some good perks in terms of being able to buy extra holiday and good pension scheme. Hardest part of the job is dealing with difficult and vulnerable members. Some management are very supportive and there is scope for some progression. Sadly, opportunities for this are hard to come by and higher level management pick and choose when they want to invoke a formal interview process or just give opportunities away on a 'secondment' basis.

Cons
2 out of 3 weekends, minimal progression opportunities.

Great culture and purpose but the salary and career progression needs some work. There are people better suited for roles but are not hired despite abilities and experience.
