Long hours but rewarding job. Hard to balance social life as hours are long throughout the day although because you’re doing long hours you only have to do a couple days a week. But you don’t get paid for all day, you only get paid for the time you are at a clients home. Any time traveling in between is unpaid.

Ok place to work in

Work place was ok to work in at times was stressful, management was good too very understanding. Would recommend this place to everyone as the pay is very good and they always have work available

No social life

Not managed properly pay not that good staff are always overworked & tired, service users are lovely but overall it’s not a good company to work for )

Worst company to work for, not paying right salary, no management support, so much neglect towards service users. Extremely unprofessional company. Not recommended.

Great work place

I've worked for the Birmingham branch for nearly 2 years, I've enjoyed working here more than anywhere else, management is very good and understanding, colleagues and clients mostly speak urdu( Pakistani) , they are very friendly and easy to get along with. Overall good money and good hours too.

Lovely job to have

Only been with the company a short time however, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here so far. The office staff are helpful, friendly and will try to accommodate as best they can. Always opportunity to pick up extra shifts and they have great rates of pay.

Worst place ever

This is a ZERO HOUR contract! and when you do get hours they expect you to work from 7am to 10pm! They only pay you when you’re at the service users house, they don’t pay for travel time so imagine being on your feet for over 12 hours and only getting paid for about half of that!!Management is a joke! All they do is gossip about you. Even with serious health conditions you can’t call in sick. Avoid this place even if you’re desperate for a job.

Rubbish word

You need to use your own car and the pay you get don't cove your fuel you put in your car as you use it all day going from house to house long hours pay rubbish

Great Workplace!!!

I have been working for 3 years with this company and have gained a lot of experiences through the years. I have had full support from my coordinator to management.The reason why I have stayed this long was due to consistency and flexibility. They pay above minimum wage, which is always a bonus!

Great place to work

I thoroughly enjoy working for Nationwide care services. The atmosphere is great and it is a perfect working environment. The staff are all great and work well together. There is a lot of support available to us and a lot of progession oportunities.

Bad

Office are unprofessional. No respect for non drivers and put on drivers. Zero hours so not guaranteed. They pick and choose what hours they give, dont go by your availability. If you pull them up on it they give u less hours. One office member is sarcastic and sly... bully. Keep taking new staff... pushing out old because you don't get hours promised. Training is supposed to be paid, but isn't

Hello and Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment.I feel a response to this review is relevant in regards to any person reading this in a negative view.As the new Branch Manager to post, i am saddened that you felt you could not share any issues you had giving me an opportunity to work through any difficulties.As you will be aware, there were issues surrounding the payments of training being released from the previous manager, but i am very aware that any staff who have recently left, who requested the training monies, were paid promptly.Should you feel you would like to discuss further, please contact me on 01905 458792. lovely company

lovely company to work for, i had a few issues but after time they were dealt with. service users were amazing and grateful hours were sometimes long but worth every minute

Exhausting workplace

Poor management, exhausting and time-keeping travels between clients (management is not paying for time spent in travel, the money for driver's petrol are not enough. Clients are lovely, but money really bad.

Nice workplace

Workplace is nice and co workers are nice. Easier to get full time work if you are a driver. Hours are long and workload is demanding. But gets easier as you go and becomes routine.

Run away from this company

Pay is messed up ,hours are messed up , management will use you till you drop. Not everything you are taught during training is as it is when in the field (actual job) . A company where you come to get trained for the job but never get paid for the training. You don't get any payslip to check against the hours you have worked hence The company holds on to your pay a week in hand and pays you only every two weeks. Management is not professional nor organised at all .
