A good place to work

Gives opportunity to people without care experience with good training and support to have a career in care, They do have good number of shifts, and it's a rewarding job if you do have a caring nature,

Productive and educative

I learnt a lot during at the training, things like dimentia, sepsis, stroke, and the best way to give a person entered care.They have such great instructor who is very lovely, understanding, strict but kind, and very good at training employees.

The company appears to have a heart

Nationwide care services has alot of service users. They provide excellent training for new hires. Theri carers are mostly happy and have few compliants.

It is good to work with nationwide but they just have less hours everyone is friendly always help out my coordinators are very helpful just the hours don’t suit my needs as I can’t to long days

Helpful and understanding

Nationwide is a good company to work for. The management was very understanding when I had to have time of work due to medical reasons and they helped me through the time I was off sick. Management communicated with me well regarding clients needs and any concerns also regarding how I felt whilst I was working making sure I was happy and to regularly discuss what hours and days I wanted to work. Clients made you feel at home and comfortable during the calls which made the job more enjoyable.

Bullying culture, staff not valued. Very poor T&Cs

The staff turnover is huge because people are treated dreadfully. Service users are not protected because of a lack of investment and inadequate staffing complements. Very negative experience in every sense.

Rewarding and great management

Care work is hard but extremely rewarding, full training and support was provided by the company. Hours were flexible around my childcare requirements. The office and management team are supportive, friendly and encouraging.

Caring making time provide a service can be fun

They offer opportunities to further your skills and knowledge by offering courses to be a qualified nurse.Management is not a easy role in this sector but they do what they can to help in any situation. They have understanding to personal life and issues. Try to give you shift according to your requirements of hours and flexibility to accommodate if you have other commitments.A job for persons of any culture and religious backgrounds, or education status. There isn't anything hard working for company unless Management or other workers are not doing their part of the job to make your job easy. The fun part is not at the company it's with the clients. You don't really see the office unless ur restocking in supplies or handing in timesheets.

Love working for Nationwide care services ,very good staff ,needs are met .Proffesional company ,always understanding ,caring ,helpful.Get time off when when reqd e.g annual leaves etc Staff make you feel as if you are part of family Good team work ,trainings provided and paid .

A lot has changed

I worked for Nationwide a few years back and left due to poor management. I heard through friends that all management has changed and the branch has developed in a very good way.The office staff are very helpful and understanding and always approachable if you need them

Worse company out there

Carers are expected to work double shifts, no travel time, bad pay. There no communication with office and staff. The app they bought out even worse, they dump calls on you and expect you to just cover them even out of area. 95% of their staff is unhappy. Clients are getting missed calls due to poor communication very badly run company!! None of the office/head office staff care! Keep well away!!!

Good Place to work for a hard worker

If your willing to work hard, this company is good for you. You are rewarded for working hard and there is always plenty to do. If you would like extra or less shifts, this is always available as well. I feel the office will always listen to me and try their best to help out as much as possible.

Pros

Plenty to do and you will never be bored. Good team and great people in Nottingham Branch

Long Hours are sometimes required, but if your willing to do the work, the pay check is always a nice reward.

Great workplace

I have worked for nationwide care services for almost 10 years, I started off as a carer in 2013 and have worked my way up to a branch manager.I have always been supported throughout my career by senior management. Nationwide care services helped me to develop as a person and as a professional, my confidence level has increased over the years and continues to. The best thing about nationwide care services is they always have work to offer it is reassuring to know you will always receive a sustainable income.I work with a large team who work well with one another and show respect to one another. The workload is shared out well with other colleagues to enable us to meet our targets. I enjoy my job role as in the care sector we are here to support individuals, and it makes me happy that I am part of a team that is able to make changes to someone's day to day life and well-being.There is always opportunities available to progress within the business and training is always offered to better skillset.I am proud to be part of an organisation that enables their staff to grow and offers support when needed.

I work with a great team of people . All of our care staff are great and go above and beyond for all of our service users. I strongly advise anyone looking for care jobs to come and join nationwide care.

Great Team

I enjoy working for Nationwide Care Services. I feel appreciated and have plenty of support around me. I have no concerns with regards to my work and feel that i have everything I need to complete my work to the best of my ability.
