Not a very nice office atmosphere!I joined NSS in 2022 as a Helpdesk Coordinator working in the Leeds office.From day one you will soon find out if your face fits and if not you will soon be made to feel like an outsider. I pretty much had to learn everything myself from the systems & software we use to our client base and the different processes we use. The office has a very hostile environment and isn’t very welcoming at all. The manager I reported into couldn’t care less and didn’t seem interested if I had a problem or concern. He would be more happy to sit on the top table out of sight. There isn’t any progression opportunities or ways to better myself so I feel I would be better to move on. Also if you are a single girl that likes men letching over you and being very full on then this might be the job for you. If not stay well clear.

I love the job at hand but for a multi million pound company they should give the foot soldiers a fair wage ie why they always require staff as the wage they give is terrible and the management and directors get paid well there's too much penny pintching and the operatives have to buy there own washing up liquid good place to work but they need to look after the foot soldiers more pay peanuts get monkeys

I started at NSS recently as an apprentice, I felt really nervous as this would be my first job. They have made me feel so welcome and part of the team in just a matter of days. I’m so happy with my choice and can’t imagine working at another company. I feel empowered already to make my own decisions own my learning path.

At NSS you will be expected to give your all for nothing in return. You will be told that the mistakes made by management are your fault. No one cares about the workers and any constructive criticism is taken as negative and a personal attack.
