Huge amount of responsibility but it comes with the territory, some good managers, many not so much. Work life balance tricky if you work shifts and have a family.

Fantastic company to work for
Excellent pay package, further development opportunities and supportive management, agile working with comfortable bright office premises which also house subsidised Costa and restaurant

Great company to work for. Shame about the location.
Great management and staff. Just a shame about the location. Not guaranteed to be posted where you want. But that was always a possibility. If I was located nearer to home then I would have 100% stayed.
Trainee Air Traffic Controller, Whiteley in Southampton

Ultimately Letdown
After several months of promises by the company that we would always be looked after as an employee. As soon as the current situation occurred and financial strength began to weaken, most vulnerable assets were made redundant in order for the company to "survive".

Best Job I've Ever Had!
A really fun, vibrant place to work where I felt really appreciated. The training for the job was really enjoyable and when it was time to perform on my own (once validated), it was dynamic and challenging. The manager's door was always open and they couldn't do enough to help should there be any issues. Same can be said for colleagues in that they would always be friendly and happy to answer any questions. A really friendly and somewhat family feel within the department.I worked shifts so although the mornings were early starts, the day always went swiftly and you had the rest of the afternoon to yourself to get on with daily duties like shopping or going to the gym etc. before the early evening rush!No two days were the same so it kept things interesting and there are opportunities to move around the business should you wish to. The managers would also support you if you wanted to transition. Overall the department works well and everyone has an understanding of what the common goal is. This means the overall organisation has a great working culture.
