Natta’s LOVE (Live Our Values Everyday) Awards!

Natta are proud to hold the LOVE (Live Our Values Everyday) Awards as an initiative to reward our employees for their dedication to following one or more of Natta’s core values. The awards were masterminded by one of our Senior Estimators who submitted his suggestion to our Senior Management Team about how Natta could acknowledge and reward our staff for their on-going commitment to following Natta’s core values: - Safety, Expertise, Integrity, Quality, Innovation, Teamwork, Collaboration and Sustainability How it works: Employees who stand out for their adherence to one or more of Natta’s core values are nominated by their colleagues at head office or on site each month. Their nomination includes a reason as to why they should be given recognition. On the last Friday of every month, the winner or winners are chosen by Natta’s Senior Management Team and announced. The winners receive their awards and gifts shortly after. All winners will be entered for a prize draw at the end of the year for a chance to win some amazing prizes such as: a 2 night stay at a luxury hotel, a Tandem Skydive and a VIP Helicopter Tour, to name a few.

Natta shortlisted for the Construction News Specialists Awards 2020

Natta is delighted to announce that we have been selected as finalists in the three categories: Health, Safety & Wellbeing Excellence, Community Engagement Award and for Training Excellence at the 2020 Construction News Specialists Awards. The CN Specialist awards are the only national awards that recognises the best specialist contractors from across the UK. To decide the winners, in February all finalists will attend face-to-face judging by our panel of more than 60 judges, made up from the UK’s largest construction firms and the leaders of the country’s major projects. The Construction News Specialists Awards ensures that whatever size or specialism there is an appropriate avenue to showcase the achievements of specialist contractors.Construction News editor Lem Bingley said: “The UK construction sector is a significant pillar of the national economy and it rests on the unique skills of specialist contractors to deliver at every stage, from demolition to topping off. Our shortlisted organisations demonstrate the breadth of capabilities offered by today’s specialists as well as their ability to innovate and diversify, offer additional value to their clients.Finalists will now progress to our face-to-face judging stage, where they will have the chance to impress some the UK’s biggest and most significant contractors and developers.” Jo Whelan, Marketing & Communications Manager said: “We are over the moon to be shortlisted on all three categories that we entered for and look forward to presenting our pitches to the judges. Hopefully, we can bring at least one of the awards home on the night!” The winners will be announced on 17 November 2020 at their Virtual Awards Ceremony. Natta gets Gold at the RoSPA awards 2020

Natta is proud to have achieved Gold in the internationally-renowned RoSPA Health and Safety Awards for the second year running. This achievement with RoSPA demonstrates the high health and safety standards we have within the company which helps everyone get home safely at the end of the working day.

Completed Projects - The Hawthorns, Independent Living Community

The video below showcases Natta’s capabilities and the high quality that we can deliver as a turnkey design and build Main Contractor. The scheme is visually impressive and we are very pleased to have had the opportunity to be involved. The project involved the full design and build of a 7,637 m² Independent Living Community, The Hawthorns, in Northampton. The building is comprised of 61 Independent Living apartments of varying sizes, with cafés, restaurants and lounges, a cinema, recreation bar, indoor bowls green, hair salon and therapy spa.

Natta awarded Investors in People Silver Accreditation

Natta Gets Silver! Natta has steadily continued to grow and evolve as a company since its set up in 1972. As a specialist contractor in construction, our people are what makes the Company successful. Natta is delighted to announce that we have been awarded silver accreditation against the Investors in People (IIP) in recognition of our commitment to high performance through excellent people management. Paul Devoy, CEO of Investors in People, said: “We’d like to congratulate Natta on achieving Silver Accreditation. It is a remarkable effort for any organisation and places Natta in fine company with a host of organisations that understand the value of people.” Commenting on the award, Vanessa Pinto, Natta HR Manager stated: “We are thrilled to be recognised with this Silver Award. This demonstrates our staff’s outstanding commitment and dedication to the success of the business and it’s people practices.” The Investors in People Awards set exceptionally high standards. It is clear that in every facet of the programme’s design and execution the organisers have been proactive in finding ways to ensure the awards are completely fair and wholly trustworthy. Investors in People (IIP) Silver Award is a fantastic achievement and something only 20% of organisations achieve. It means that the right principles are in place. However more than that, it means our management teams are making active efforts to make sure that there’s real consistency and everyone in the organisation are feeling the effects! About Investors in People (IIP) Investors in People (IIP) is all about business improvement. IIP started out 28 years ago to try to make the workplace a better place to introduce improvements and give recognition to employees. Natta’s relationship started with IIP in 2007, from then on Natta has improved their workplace practice year on year. For something that takes up that much of our time, IIP and Natta think people deserve to get more out of it than just a regular paycheque. And we are just getting started…

Completed Projects - Ewshot Gardens

Natta constructed 49 houses/flats for Redfields Development Ltd, as a turnkey design and build contract. We commenced on site in April 2015 completed in December 2017. The first units for occupation were handed over in January 2016. The site comprises a mix of 41 houses ranging from 2 bed to 5 bed, together with 8 apartments. 20 of the units are for Sentinel Housing Association, the balance for private sale.
