Ok
Staff Nurse (Current Employee) - Glasgow, Glasgow - 15 May 2023
Not many shifts never any on the app and now can’t get nhs shifts either. It’s just such a shame because the app would be great if there were actually shifts on it

Warmest welcome package that makes you feel appreciated
Registered General Nurse (Current Employee) - North East - 25 January 2023
The company is having next to zero shift availability, a month easily passes with no work at all. They continue recruiting yet they have no work to offer employees.
Pros
Fair pay and their e learning is 100
Cons
Unavailability of shifts which forces one to eventually leave in search of work elsewhere

Not what it seems.....
RGN (Current Employee) - Midlands - 6 September 2015
Worked for the company for a short spell and wouldn't work here again.
I the ethos is patient/client focused from a clinical perspective and you do need to jump through hoops to register. However I found the branch manager to be a bit difficult. She was abrasive and if you declined a shift you may not be offered another one. Also, when I joined, I was given the impression that there was work locally and I wouldn't have to travel - Def not the case. HCAs in particular get a rough deal I believe - have to pay for DBS check at interview as well as uniform approx £80 before you work. You also have to attend a full induction day that you done get paid for and watch DVDs. I didn't get offered a drink when I was there for over 5hrs.
I wouldn't recommend this company to my friends. There are better company's out there to work for on a temp basis that are also National.
Pros
Free uniforms BUT only for registered nurses
Cons
Branch manager not very nice, shifts quite far away, homes worked in usually poor CQC ratings, induction not paid, ridiculous interview process
