Good when there’s work

I have worked for newcross for 2 years. They have been very supportive with me and I have always had shifts. It’s been very quiet recently so not a lot of work so I would not recommend if you want full time hours.

Nice place to work but sometimes difficult to pick up shifts

Lovely place to work, easy interview process although it wasn't exactly an interview. No one turned up to the teams meeting so a phone call was done instead and it was typically background information just to see if you have experience and if you have a rough idea about the job and safeguarding etc. You basically have the job from the application not the "interview". It's a good job if you have a regular place you like to work but if you like to move around its hard to pick up shifts as the office team seem to have their favourite staff for certain places which then makes it hard to get in. Great pay but its different everywhere you go, I worked nights mostly and it was it great pay earning up to £700 before tax just for 4 nights.Overall, good job but favouritism is too obvious.

Good training

Newcross have a large learning resources, online. The slide sheet training is thorough with many variations.You can choose where you go and are able to set parameters of where you will work.
