Not micro managed
I am happy in my role. My co-workers are lovely as are the managers. Everyone is very supportive and collaborative. Just wish I could have a few more hours on contract. Health Care Assistant in London

Tiring and stressful
Working as a HCA was very stressful. There was a lot of support though, people were always eager to help. Not much chance for progression though so wasn’t worth it Catering Assistant in Bury St. Edmunds

busy
working in the kitchen you are always busy. plating staff, patients and visitors food. one day you can be out in the resturant serving staff and the next day you could be in the kitchen getting food ready for the patients. Theatre Support Worker in Oxford

Not enough salary
Good quality job depending of the management. But basically, the environment sometimes gets stressful, the rota can be difficult and you can struggle with your work life balance. I think we're having not enough money for this kind of job. We are looking after people and saving life. Our performance matters. And we don't have enough support most of the time.Senior Biomedical Specimen Co-ordinator in London

Nice
Poor management - far too many middle managers getting involved with in matters that don’t concern them, toxic work culture. Too much pressure. Pay needs to improve. What would you say about your employer?
