The culture is friends looking after friends!
Too many ego's
Some people are promoted beyond their capabilities
Bullying, racism, awful "management" and a toxic environment to work! Stay away. Too many nasty people under one roof.
Very organised
Bullying is endemic
In one word; wretched. I would not wish working there on my worst enemy. Behaviours are accepted, such as bullying and harassment, that no other organisation would put up with. I was subjected to them and I saw other people subjected to them and management was powerless to intervene due to complete lack of organisational support
Very good supporting environment
The Trust management are only concerned with Mental Health. No Integration of Children's Services! CAMHS and Children's Therapies in same building but never work together.
Worked in children's service for many years, which was taken over by CPFT in 2008.
Changes: pay was frozen for 5 years. Management Forced to make cuts every year to a specialist service already inadequately funded.
Increase in workload and low staff morale. Staff gradually leaving since. Staff training non existent for below band 5 , yet available in Mental Health. Assistants Unable to access this as "not relevant to post"! Any available training in children's services would be beneficial to "unqualified" staff!
Hierarchically Bullying culture.
Lack of CPD support.
Business model
Focused on clinical commissioners
Focused on figures and targets
