Stressful
Very stressful and almost always understaffed!I have given 18 years to the service and watch the slow decline of our beloved NHS, it's a sad state of affairs and I don't think it will ever get better. It is broken beyond repair.
Clerk/Typist in Newcastle upon Tyne

Fast paced and great team work
The work is very fast paced depending on your department and job role. The best part about working for the NHS is the teamwork, everyone is always there for a helping hand and management take care off their staff.

A breath of fresh air!
Don't know where to begin. I have been here for 6 month now and I thought it was too good to be true........but its not! Management and colleagues are so helpful, the culture and engagement are 2nd to none. I get to help people everyday and have my work recognised regularly.
Lab Support Worker in Newcastle upon Tyne
on 14 September 2023
Great time as bank staff
Great time as bank staff working during covid, relatively relaxed work environment providing the team was meeting the targets.Team leaders were down to earth and supportive with concerns, covid “ended” so the lab closed.
