NHS Employee Review

Rewarding but stressful

There is no surprise working within the NHS can be stressful with staff shortages and minimum resources, however, it is a rewarding job with a lot of opportunities to progress. Nursing can lead you to many different avenues, ward nursing is not the only option.

Stressful due to lack of staff

Stressful due to lack of staff, staffing levels are not and the staff to patient ratios are also unsafe. Constantly feel you are put in unsafe positions and non supportive management.

Great and rewarding just understaffed

Job would be amazing if staffing was amazing which unfortunately it’s not been made to be an attractive job. Staff are supportive in most places you work

Overworked and underpaid

The responsibility that is taken far exceeds the remuneration. Frequently go over the alloted hours for no extra pay. Underappreciated and often ignored by senior management.
