Fun work place

If you're looking for a job that you enjoy working here was extremely fun and just getting to know all the people round you and finding interesting things about each person and each day is different

Pros

Everyone is extremely nice

Cons

Sometimes extremely early start

Bullying is rife

The bullying culture from management is horrible. You’re looked down upon and undermined whilst at work, in front of colleagues and members of the public. As bank staff you’ll have your shifts potentially cancelled at short notice and they couldn’t care less if you’ve made arrangements for childcare or about not having any pay coming in

A not good place for a bank staff to work.

Hospital is lovely, however work is very hard. If you are a bank staff you won't get much support from the staff and they will allocate you to the most complex cases. No matter what you do there as a bank staff, they won't be happy anyway. They don't like temporary staff so be careful, it's a tricky place to work as an agency staff.

Pros

New hospital

Cons

Unfriendly attiute to temporary staff

I was employed as a support worker for many happy years at Runwell hospital, and more recently at Brockfield house after the hospital closed.

Runwell hospital was a very good place to work and I was very sad when it closed. I continued to work for SEPT when the patients from the medium/low secure unit moved to Brockfield house until my retirement in June 2015. I chose to remain on the nurse bank and do occasional shifts there.

Pros

Pension scheme

Cons

Long hours and staff shortage
