Toxic Management,
Pharmacy Stores (Former Employee) - Tayside Ninewells - 29 September 2023
Toxic Management, always want more and more. Favouritism is rife , if they don't like you , they try everything in their power to get rid of you . One good thing the policies are very family oriented but management don't read what you are entitled to and when they are shown them they are still reluctant to give you what you are entitled to .

No
Cons
Never enough

Ok
Receptionist (Current Employee) - Tayside Region - 14 November 2023
Ok place to work. Management could do with an overhaul. If you get a good team to work with you're sorted, if not, you're stuffed. Wage not reflective of duties and responsibilities - poor in comparison. Much room for improvement but no one listens.

I got lucky
Administrator (Current Employee) - Tayside Region - 7 January 2023
I'm acutely aware the NHS is far from perfect in terms of working for the organisation. I'm so lucky i landed a job with an amazing team but there are serious bullying issues in the NHS and very clique in some departments. Management are OK but it is the same as the police, folks in Management got there because of who they know not what they know and this is reflected literally all day every day. Very clueless managers, not to say they're bad people, but they really haven't a clue. Also lots of sloppy shoulders. 3/5 for my personal overall experience of working for the NHS.
Pros
Decent pay for what admins do
Cons
A lot of work thrown at you very quickly that's well above your pay grade

Good seeing recovery
Mental health nurse (Former Employee) - Tayside Region - 21 November 2022
Good to see recovery. Great working with service users and other staff. High stress, short staffed or inexperienced staff. No support from higher management when things go wrong.
Pros
Recovery
Cons
Pay, stress, management
