NHS Employee Review
Can be stressful
Registered Midwife (Current Employee) - Southampton - 8 June 2023
There are colleagues and managers who really try, but there are also cliques and you feel uncomfortable. Can be stressful when busy/understaffed. It does feel like they try to value the individual but day to day this is somehow lost. Long hours - often working over. New initiative means you tend to get lunch breaks as you should.
Pros
Very skilled team
Cons
Cliques

Nhs is better for the young and inexperienced, lots of new inexperienced nurses at the helm, no appreciated to older deneration that have been working hard for many years , Nhs isn’t what it used to be,
Pros
Secure
Cons
Excessive hours, short staff, a barrage pay
