NHS Employee Review
Toxic
Mobile Plumbing and Mechanical Maintenance (Former Employee) - Edgware - 20 September 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? Mismanagement, toxic culture fuelled by a total disregard for patients and staff. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The toxic culture, poor managers. They couldn't care less for the patients. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Back stabbing, malicious. Lazy, unskilled and deceitful What is a typical day like for you at the company? I was mobile so I could avoid the toxicity at Edgware Community Hospital. Bug when I was there, I found the workers and management were lazy and unconcerned

Nice and helpful colleagues, left the job due to long travel times. Majority of the seniors were nice , flexible working time. However, poor pay based compared with the workload.

Voluntary Worker (Former Employee) - Poole, Dorset - 29 November 2023
Voluntary work at DHC NHS Trust Poole Hospital. Teamed seem nice at first, then the pink goggles came off. Quite favouritism preferred Clicky staff members Old people in the 80s (long term Volunteers) calling the roost. Very obvious to me, i was being watched all the time. Was quizzed with questions a lot Found fault with me because i wasn’t 80.
Pros
A step forward to a paid job
Cons
A step back if your face dont fit

Post Room Assistant (Former Employee) - Southampton - 29 November 2023
Poor Management. Favouritism. Managers don’t take your health or wellbeing seriously. Very clicky place to work, you only get far if you’re friends with management and your face fits.
Pros
Free refreshments
Cons
Work life balance. Lack of support.
