Reviews for Pharmacist at NHS
NHS is going down
Pharmacist (Former Employee) - Leeds - 26 October 2022
NHS is sinking and unfortunately I need to leave whilst I’m still alive. Only thing that can save it is privatisation. Theres very little respect for staff and absolutely no patience. Very little movement upwards

Fantastic placement for basic rotation / first job post qualification
Pharmacist (Former Employee) - Pharmacy - 19 May 2020
Challenging environment to work in which allows you to develop your personal skills.
Fantastic opportunities to develop a firm clinical foundation as a band 6 rotational pharmacist.
Little management support or encouragement for existing long-term staff to undertake professional development to improve work-based skills due to permanent short staffing
Management is very slow to incorporate modern ways of working and switching to digital technology for speed and efficiency
Very friendly staff and department
Pros
Staff benefits as per NHS
Cons
Only willing to allow flexible working / work from home for certain staff members

Overall a good place of work
Outpatient Pharmacist (Current Employee) - London, Greater London - 21 August 2019
I believe this is a good hospital to work at however with better management and staff progression it will be an excellent place to work. A typical day can be difficult and keeps me on my toes. Work is both mentally and physically challenging, nonetheless to an extent to a new pharmacist, satisfying.
