Services Assistant (Current Employee) - Doncaster & Bassettlaw NHS FT - 22 September 2021
From the very beginning, it's been nothing but a pain to get sorted. Absolute joke, the local team never answers the phone, it can take well over an hour for the national call centre to answer the phone and you can be waiting days even weeks for a reply from them by email. They pay us less than NHS Trust staff for doing the same job and despite being told we would be paid the same (including any increases NHS Trust staff receive) they've backtracked and decided we're no longer going to receive the 3% payrise that NHS Trust staff received in September 2021. In terms of the job, it's actually rewarding and colleagues are really friendly and supporting, you'll work with some amazing staff, however should you have any issues, you'll find it extremely difficult to get them resolved with NHSP. My advice would be to apply directly for the NHS trust rather than NHSP.
Pros
Flexabilty on working days, pick your own shifts.
Cons
Zero Support from local team, Paid Less than NHS Trust staff for doing same Job.

struggling to find shifts working NHSp so have no idea why they are recruiting. There has been no support for their full time or part time staff.
Health Care Assistant (Current Employee) - Plymouth - 24 November 2023
It’s a very hard job, most times being moved from the ward you have booked. There are no shifts available so we can not plan more than 1 week ahead. The morale is low and lots are leaving the company .
Pros
Flexibility
Cons
No work
