Rewarding job

Indeed featured review

I enjoy my job as registered nurse. Every day is different and seeing patients getting better is so rewarding. Team working is excellent and you will make friends for life

Repetitive and boring

Underpaid and undervalued and management are never about to help. Customers vent their anger throughout your day due to nhs failures. Long waiting times and not sufficient staff numbers to deal with enquiries

Great Job Satisfaction

Good work experience

I enjoyed my time there. Learned a lot working with a variety of people and enjoyed team working. there can be some drama and favouritism an overall gossipy culture.

It was ok to work for

It was ok to work for, I have been treated better I. Other workplaces but it was ok. Keep your head up and keep work life separate. Quite a toxic environment

Just dont

If your face fits then great but usually youll be left to do all the work whilst the 'clique' either sit on their phones or yell at you for not doing the job of 5 people fast enough. If you dont fit their group then you're out of luck and youll be made aware of that. Work yourself into the ground and do whatever is asked of you just for managers to lie and not even give you the time of day.

Challenging

I see no point in having HR if the people who then ask advice do their own thing. I was increasingly frustrated by managers with no HR qualifications doing what they thought was the right thing to do.Too many mavericks for my peace of mind.

It's ok

Depends on your job, has some issues but not surprising because it's the NHS, and doubt it is just related to scotland. Completely depends on where you work

Great

The National Health Service (NHS) is the publicly funded healthcare system in the United Kingdom. Here are some reasons why the NHS is good:Free healthcare: The NHS provides free healthcare to all UK residents, regardless of their ability to pay. This means that everyone has access to medical treatment when they need it, without having to worry about the cost.High-quality care: The NHS is staffed by highly trained healthcare professionals who are dedicated to providing the best possible care to their patients. The NHS has some of the best doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in the world.Physical activity guidelines: The NHS provides physical activity guidelines for adults aged 19 to 64, which include tips on how to achieve 150 minutes of moderate intensity activity a week3. This is important for maintaining good health and preventing chronic diseases.Work experience opportunities: The NHS offers work experience opportunities for people who are interested in pursuing a career in healthcare. This includes advice on setting work plans and tips on how to recruit the best people4.Terms and conditions of service: The NHS terms and conditions of service handbook applies in full to all staff directly employed by NHS organizations, except very senior managers5. This means that NHS staff are entitled to fair pay, benefits, and working conditions.Overall, the NHS is a great healthcare system that provides high-quality care to all UK residents, free of charge. It also offers physical activity guidelines, work experience opportunities, and fair terms and conditions -
