The management were very supportive with a clear vision of what needed to be done and were no hesitant in making decisions and following them through. Some inter departmental conflict and politics though sometimes made implementation difficult
I work as a technology specialist for the internal audit department in London Pros include: (1) Nice pay, (2) Prestige office, and (3) Learning opportunities with IA Cons which are not worth the trade off in my opinion: (1) Boring work, (2) No one wants to stay in this department, and (3) Lack of progression
Pros
Office location
Cons
Long hours and cut-throat environment
A technology driven company in superb offices . High paced and demanding culture which also rewards . Global in nature with opportunity to travel and relocate
A great team and boss to work for, office is a must everyday which might not work for all. The work environment is easy but that is entirely due to team.
Little opportunity for advancement at mid level
Great for graduates looking to start a career in the investment banking arena
Fantastic training programmes available
Nomura hat eine Kultur wo Work/Life Balance gross geschreiben wird ohne unprofessionell zu werden. Personlicher Kontakt un Kolaboration wird sehr vom Management unterstuezt.
good place to work with many benefits and lots of opporunities to progress.
Many different divisions and really emphasis on working remotely as desk space is at a premium
At Nomura the staff is well looked after. Nomura allowed me to get a lot of exposure to different IT systems and they always assisted with giving me the right training so that I can continue myself development. There are plenty of opportunities with in Nomura and they encouraged us to take them as they come

Very Asian in outlook:
- long hours and need to stay onsite until management leave
- always on standby
- tries to look forward but very slow moving
- generally Ok but not the best in breed
Pros
will invest in facilities
Cons
very slow moving
Good company with great benefits onsite and flexibility with work offered however this all depends what your team culture is like and your relationship with your manager.
Lots of cuts happening so act cautiously.
Pros
Medical centre with onsite doctors, gym, social activities / clubs and networking opportunities, nice canteen, 3 benugos in the building, nice view of the river Thames
Cons
Old technology, slow to implement change, lack of support from managers once they get to VP and above, people out for themselves (depends on team)
