The management were very supportive with a clear vision of what needed to be done and were no hesitant in making decisions and following them through. Some inter departmental conflict and politics though sometimes made implementation difficult
I work as a technology specialist for the internal audit department in LondonPros include: (1) Nice pay, (2) Prestige office, and (3) Learning opportunities with IACons which are not worth the trade off in my opinion: (1) Boring work, (2) No one wants to stay in this department, and (3) Lack of progression

A great team and boss to work for, office is a must everyday which might not work for all. The work environment is easy but that is entirely due to team.

At Nomura the staff is well looked after. Nomura allowed me to get a lot of exposure to different IT systems and they always assisted with giving me the right training so that I can continue myself development. There are plenty of opportunities with in Nomura and they encouraged us to take them as they come

I have really enjoyed my time at Nomura, I have had two different roles since being with them in 2015. The company is based in a great location in Bank and the office is absolutely lovely and very modern and environmentally friendly. The people are great who work there and it has bee a fun place to work.

Intense trading floor workplace with incredibly professional and dedicated members of staff, from traders to developers and support teams across the board.

Very Asian in outlook:
- long hours and need to stay onsite until management leave
- always on standby
- tries to look forward but very slow moving
- generally Ok but not the best in breed

Good company with great benefits onsite and flexibility with work offered however this all depends what your team culture is like and your relationship with your manager.

Old technology, slow to implement change, lack of support from managers once they get to VP and above, people out for themselves (depends on team)
