Fast paced environment to work

Indeed featured review

The most useful review selected by Indeed
It’s an okay form if you are not worried about loyalty. Fast paced and hard working for little reward or thank you. Teams vary from one to another, face paced firm with change over.

Great benefits

Fast-paced and collaborative workplace

The office would be buzzing as most of the transactions were fast-paced and required continuous monitoring. There was a sense of collaboration in the team as we would all work together on larger transactions. The work culture could be difficult at points due to long hours but the people were generally very understanding and driven which made for a fun experience.

Dont Bother

I was employed as the Security Manager with a re-mit to improve the security dept and strive forward with new ideas. So i did, only to be stopped at every step. The HR dept is a joke. They are all scared of their own shadow. I discovered after a couple of days that one of my Officers did not have an SIA badge, compulsory by law in the security industry, so i sent him home. Only to be told by HR that i couldn't because they did not know if it was in his contract that he needed a badge, ridiculous. I was improving working conditions, shift patterns, new uniforms, the list was endless as the last manager sat back and did nothing. After all this this security team decided they didn't want to change and bleated to the wet HR department and made up a complete list of inaccuracies and i was let go. Avoid this place if you want to be a security manager as they already have one, or should i say 15 of them, in the security dept.

Hardworking and focussed but a good work life balance

Some days could be early starts and late finishes, others just the usual. The management structure is effective and allows a level of automomous work with checks and balances. The company is very social with regular get togethers and fun events. The hardest part of the job was the pressure to ensure delivery to a very high standard within timelines, the most enjoyable part was the recognition received for doing a good job.

Great location, work from home occassionally, good cafe, nice people

Micro management in some cases, pressure to deliver.

Rude Company- Never bothered to give a feedback of my interview.

Worst company ever. wasted all my time for the stupid interview process in newcastle. Glad i didn't get it. This shows the company culture and how they treat people.

due to system changes there have been a lot of changes and not all for the best. so much experience been made redundant that the firm are now feeling the affect. was always a great culture and fair work life balance but not sure that has remained

Excellent experience : Work Experience Placement

I had the opportunity to be part of a work experience placement and shadowed partners in the corporate practice during one week. The atmosphere was very friendly and professional.

Challenging but interesting

An accelerated ERP deployment covering most of the globe simultaneously which was extremely challenging. It was a short term contract with almost unachievable goals however we have managed it

productive law firm

Every team member had a clear idea of important role they played The importance of good teamwork in a large litigation case. The partner in charge of the team was an excellent manager. Regular appraisals and areas to improve and support employee were identified by her. She enthused team to work hard towards a common goal. Teamwork and support. Creating massive case bundles comprising of boxes of paperwork rather than files at discovery stage of case. Working on a historically large ship building case.

Good for contract work

Autonomy given, driven environment working on projects, high expectations, reward given. Hard line management structure.

Insightful and Productive

Insightful work experience that has taught me the importance of the interrelationship between law and business, in an increasingly complex globalised world. Extremely resourceful workplace with supportive management. Decent amount of information sensitivity, but that is to be expected from a Law company.

Overall Rating

As Client Services Manager my day is always busy. Carrying out bi-monthly KPIs for cleaning, and monthly for catering. Liaising with various stakeholders. Monthly reports for Catering for the client and Macro and any ad hocs as they arise! Generally a nice place to work - friendly teams all round.I enjoyed the variety of my role and the continued people contact on a daily basis. Hardest part of the job - as a contractor, detached from own company colleagues, but fully integrated with NRF.

The location - by the river and fabulous offices!

Lovely company to work for; values its employees and clients

Strong emphasis on team building, diversity and promoting inclusion for all. Clients are valued, colleagues are motivated which is evidenced by a relatively low turnover. Excellent reputation and renowned as a good place to work
