At NRS Healthcare we do reference check employees from previous roles (if applicable). We also conduct DBS/Enhanced DBS checks where applicable depending on the nature of the role.

They did require a pre-employment background, however i did start of there as a volunteer, so they were aware of the little experience i had. The company was mostly interested in my interpersonal skills and eagerness to learn.
Yes enhanced dbs check, can take weeks
None unless you’re a driver then it’s a DBS check
