Listen to concerns from other officers. Make correct decisions about who should be promoted regardless of being friends outside of work
Better equipment, better management. Sack managers and supervisors, most of them are bullies and puppets as I heard.
Give employees a voice, regular meetings.
And somone to oversee the council aswell, so no bias and favourable conditions for some are present.
I would sack management who have not worked on the streets and experienced first hand the very hard job of being a CEO. I’d employ smart individuals and I’d fight for better pay and change the grubby uniform
Stop councils out sourcing to shoddy companies like nsl pay is horrendous for a ceo here in kent minimum wage for getting s@!t 5x days a week ?
Stop councils across the uk bringing in cowboy outfits like nsl
I would oust the council contract workers carried over as they brag and abuse the use of there contracts in my area covered only nsl employees have worked since 23rd Dec 2019 to date and strangely all council contract workers have all been off sick with full pay and still are it has only been nsl workers that has got the company through this period once again so I would give them contracts on par with them as the council worker and the nsl workers produce 90% of the results achieved
To Start with I would employ the right people who have had experience in dealing with people in extreme situations. Increase the hourly rate to actually encourage the right experience people to apply.
To employ the right people to be in charge of the region depots who don’t intimidate the staff by bullying them. I dare say that there are staff on the front line who actually want to do a good job and be proud of how they deal with the daily customer on beat.
Listen to the people who actually doing the job and not trying to create issues for them
I would definitely change the shift pattern. I would increase the wage so that it would attract the correct people who are happy to do the job properly, and have the correct people skills.
As for the interview process well that needs to change.
Sack the whole management team.
Help jobseekers learn about the company by being objective and to the point.
