it was okay
Okay to work, get your foot in the door of a career however wouldn't stay there long term if you want to progress. The pay isn't great and you're able to charge more in different gyms.

This is the best place I have ever workedThe team is a real family and work together. Everyone would do anything for you. It never felt like I was going to work, it felt like I was going to hang out with my friends every day

Shocking place to work
The gyms are poorly funded, unclean, with broken equipment and facilities, E.g. air conditioning Completely insufficient car parking.Members complain frequently but management do nothing and just take the members money.Front line staff take the brunt of managements inability to take any actions

Where to start
Lack of staff, management have their favourites. Everyone is over worked. More stress than it’s worth at a gym! Such a moaning culture and nothing changes. Rotas aren’t consistent, phones calls every week to cover shifts. People off sick all the time don’t get challenged, someone goes off sick once then they get questioned. Everything that the gyms work hard to do only benefit the hospitals, no major refurbishments to the gyms. Not for profit all they are is money focused. If you are successful enjoy waiting months to start due to the process. Didn’t used to be that bad, if it’s not broke don’t change it. When you leave you have to beg to get your holiday pay. Seems like they chance you not chasing it up!
