Reviews for Registered Nurse at Nurseplus

An experience that I wouldn't mind repeating.

What is the best part of working at the company?I enjoyed working with Nurseplus southwest England branch. They always found me work and were very accommodating in terms of transportation, as I dont drive. If the client was a bit out of the way they would arrange a taxi for me and pay some money towards the fare. The only thing that let it down was the pay rate. What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Sometimes I would turn up for a shift and I wouldn't be on the rota. The client cancelled my shift, but this was not communicated to me. Most times, I would stay and work the shift, though. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?I no longer work for them as I have moved but I would consider working for them in the near future. What is a typical day like for you at the company?Everyday was different as I worked in a temporary role. I did have repeat bookings though but from week to week, I didn't know where I would be working.

Best in North East

I have registered for so many agencies and branches in my time and none compare to Darlington nurseplus. The two ladies in branch are amazing. Nothings a problem, they are professional yet approachable and so so friendly. You are supported, listened to and I think one of the things that impresses me the most is their knowledge of the care industry. I never understand how people can work in this field and not have a knowledge of nursing or care! These ladies have been there and done it! They’ve worked on the front line and so they totally get what they are asking you to do and appreciate everything you do for them. I would no hesitate in recommending this company to any nurse who wants work. Sign up, you won’t regret it!

Pros

Wages good, support 100%, knowledge of industry amazing.

Cons

So far I have no complaints

What promised to be a great future disappeared in a reshuffle.

A promising start with a wide variety of local shifts degenerated in weeks to nothing offered within a 25 mile radius and so few shifts that you have to take what's offered or have nothing. Other agencies have nurses knocking shifts back week in week out and only a few weeks back so did nurseplus. The pay rates for an agency are low and their margins are astronomical having seen what the clients are being charged they could easily up the pay rates

Pros

few

Cons

many
